The brand new coffee shop is now up and running in the former K Bank location.
Local residents now have a new place to get energized in the morning. Starbucks recently opened its doors in the former K Bank location at 1438 Liberty Road in Eldersburg. The new location offers a drive-thru, utilizing the overhang used by the former bank. Starbucks is open Monday through Friday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The announcement of the new coffee shop brought local residents flocking to the comment section on Patch back in January. "A nice place to just meet up with someone or sit and read the paper. About time Eldersburg," said local resident Christie Ann. Currently there is a Starbucks inside the Safeway grocery store located in the Londontown Shopping Center. Does Eldersburg need two Starbucks Coffee stores located within such close proximity of one another? What are your thoughts?
