Ellicott City Teens to Shock Trauma After Collision with Sykesville School Bus Driver
No students were on the bus, according to police.
Three teenagers were taken to University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center Tuesday afternoon after an accident involving a school bus on Baltimore National Pike. Bus driver Anne Marie Mullinix, 52, of Sykesville and 53-year-old bus aide Ruth Mathis of West Friendship were not injured. There were no students on the bus according to Howard County Police Spokeswoman Elizabeth Schroen. According to Schroen, at about 2:35 p.m., three teens were in a 2009 Honda CRV, traveling eastbound on Baltimore National Pike, turning left at the Pebble Beach Drive intersection.
