Harry Stoffer, Neighbor

Harry Stoffer has been a professional journalist for ... well, quite a long time -- since news stories were written on manual typewriters, actually. He started with community newspapers in Ravenna, Ohio, and Doylestown, Pa. He served a decade for various news organizations in the Pennsylvania statehouse and another 20-plus years in Washington. For 12 of those years he was chief reporter in the nation's capital for Automotive News, a respected trade publication with global readership.

He views his contributions to Patch.com as a chance to return to his roots -- community journalism -- and an opportunity to participate in the re-invigoration of local news coverage being undertaken by Patch. He and his wife moved to Providence Point in late 2017.
