Carroll County Del. Krebs to Run For Re-Election
Krebs is a three-term Republican delegate from Eldersburg.
Delegate Susan W. Krebs has announced she will run for re-election, stating that she intends "to elevate the fight for Carroll County's conservative values."
Krebs, a three-term Republican delegate from Eldersburg, will be running for the District 5 seat she's held since 2002.
"The billions of dollars in increased taxes and wave of government over-regulation that has engulfed Annapolis over the last seven years is way out of control," Krebs said in a statement announcing her campaign.
District 5 expanded with redistricting, meaning three current delegates are now located in one district.
Fellow incumbents Del. Justin Ready, of Westminster, and Del. Donald Elliott have unveiled plans to run for election again, as well.
Joshua Stonko, of Manchester, and Carroll County Commissioner Haven Shoemaker, have announced their intentions to run, as well, according to The Sun.
